Social Studies

The goal of the Social Studies Program is to help young people develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world. Curriculum leadership, support services and staff development opportunities are provided for teachers and schools to meet the goal.
