Character Education

The goal of the Character Development Program is to help young people develop the core ethical values of Responsibility, Tolerance, Respect, Patriotism/ Citizenship, Kindness/Compassion, Commitment, Honesty, Courage, Integrity, Self-Control and Cooperation.

Character "Ed" is the mascot and the motto is "Communities Build Character-It's Everyone's Job!" Curriculum leadership, support services and staff development opportunities are provided for teachers and schools to meet the goal.
